About Lori Hellkamp

Lori Hellkamp joined Jones Day in 2008 and continues to work for the Washington, DC-based law firm as a partner in the tax practice focusing on international tax planning and counseling. She regularly provides support for cross-border acquisitions, restructurings and other transactions and advises on related issues such as transfer pricing, global intangible low-tax income (GILTI), foreign tax credits and tax treaties. During her time with the firm, she has also successfully helped clients in resolving disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other governmental bodies in audits, at appeals and in Competent Authority proceedings. In addition to her work at the firm, Lori Hellkamp is a member of the board of the George Washington University-IRS International Annual Tax Institute and a chair of the American Bar Association Tax Section’s inbound international tax committee, among other affiliations.

A magna cum laude graduate of Rice University, Ms. Hellkamp holds degrees from the University of Oxford, the Duke University School of Law, and Georgetown University.
